Ok, so I know this post comes a bit late – but the stump squad literally had to be calcium dosed to the max after returning from the infamous Oppikoppi festival. The awesomeness of this festival blew their minds so much they were dumbstruck for several days. (Just whispering for more Steri every now and again…)

Not to worry, I got the lowdown after the showdown on this epic roadtrip. We sent the rad-ass supa blogger Dan Nash as Stump Towers ambassador to go roll in the mud and stuff on behalf of the stumpster. I think this pretty much sums it up :

Nash : “ Let me kick this off by saying Oppikoppi is like no other festival I have ever been to. It’s like no festival you have been to. It’s in the middle of nowhere, dusty, dry, thorny and hard. Freakin hard. It was like nothing I could have ever expected and by the time it was done I was broken. The people, the vibe, the music, the dust, I fell in love with it all. Real people, good music and lots and lots of Afrikaans. I was even thinking in Afrikaans by the end of the weekend. “

According to the oukes in the pic, you should DANCE! Just in case you didn’t catch that (lame) play on words, I recently stalked the totally rad oukes from the seriously hot local band “Dance, you’reonfire”.

I must admit this Steri drop was a first for me and it kinda sucked a bit, ‘cause I didn’t get to meet the legends in person! After hearing they secretly slurrrp Steri by the bucket load I immediately sent my totally insane flying monkey squad to bust down their door and shower them with milky goodness.

This awesome 4some describe themselves as being a combo of Indie rock and more progressive sound, whatever it is, it’s freakin hot! (there I go again with the lame-ass pun’s)

A while ago the ouks from Gorilla Creative media sent us some freakin awesome pics of their pimped out Mr. Steri Stumpie heads. Apparently their Mr. Stumpsters have these rad-ass  skater alter ego’s and hit the decks when ever they can!

We think it’s flippen awesome!

Here at Stump Towers we love spreadin the Steri love, especially if it’s for a good cause! A while ago ORT SA came knocking on our door, desperately in need of supadupa drink that will cure any sluggish behaviour after a lot of running and stuff.

With Steri being the ULTIMATE revival drink (apart from being uber yummy and the best cure after a “lekker” night on the town) we just had to give in. So we opened our hearts and the Steri taps and out poored the lovin…

ORT (a.k.a. Russian words Obshestvo Remeslenofo zemledelcheskofo Truda) and they have a freakin good cause – they specialize in technology education and vocational training.

With a super Steri grin and a calcium dose in hand the kids had no prob talking on ORT’s Geared for Life fun day and kicking around their T-Rex sized soccer ball. Hope you guys had a freakin awesome day!

Holy kilt-drafts batman… This report just in from our girl in Pretoria (playing simultaneous games of rock, paper scissors in the middle with the blue hair):

“Now this is my kind of arb, bunch of South African dudes in kilts posing with flavoured milk in front of a mural of Bob frickin Marley… Not to mention metal heads, bagpipe players and full grown hairy-belly men jumping up and down like little boys for milkies! This is me on a mission to drop Steri’s with the good folks of Cool Runnings.. the picture if of me of the stupendously titled Haggis and Bong. Also passed on the Steri loving to Jack Hammer and Prevail (who have an awesome chick drummer). Chilly Stumpings y’all.”
