On behalf of Stump Towers it is herewith my great pleasure to welcome Christo van Gemert (a.k.a Christosaurus) to the very awesome and rad-ass Steri family. (cue applause) For those of you who haven’t seen the video, Christo was Sterinaded by his very own screaming fan club as a reward for his awesomeness.
A few words from Christosaurus himself :
“Unfortunately I was born with two sharp teeth (all the better to puncture Steri lids) and a pale complexion. At around age 2 I developed an unhealthy appetite for blood plasma, and when I was 17 my mom broke the news to me, when I asked why I’m not in any family albums: I’m a vampire.
Of course, we don’t photograph well and the advances in digital photography have not done anything to make a difference. All those awkward photos where people are smiling at an invisible person next to them? Yup. Me. “
Christo you’re awesome! You will soon become the envy of Steri fans all over the world.

At Stump Towers we pride ourselves on always recognizing the random acts of devotion performed by our fans. Our latest random, Dominic (a self proclaimed Steriholic) made quite the impression on the Steri community with her ubah-awhsum Steri Justice Cartoons so we decided to anoint her as our latest Official Unofficial Ambassador (for Strawberry).

To get to know the real Dominic we conducted this probing in-depth interview:
Steri: You chose to represent Strawberry, interesting choice. Is this because it’s your most favourite flavour in the whole wide world, or is it because Strawberry is a superhero’s version of spinach for Popeye? Dom: “It was the first on the list of favourites, but it does provide an extra boost to all heroes”
Steri: How many Steri’s would you say you knock back in a week? Dom: “Only 1 or 2. I give most of my steri’s to Steri Justice. It’s his life blood”
Steri: So what do you do when you’re not designing Steri Justice cartoons? Dom: “Designing other heroes and airbrushing fridges as practice”
Steri: Tell us about the craziest way you have ever drunk Steri? Dom: “Not very crazy, I just bit the bottom of the bottle and drank it under the stands at school”
Now that you have met our radass Strawberry Ambassadress we hope that her example will inspire you to similar acts of devotion.. Send us those Steri acts of passion and who knows, you might just be next to earn yourself very own marching band.

Rouen is our Creme Soda Ambassador from UCT - you’ve seen the photos, now meet the man:
Us:Hey Rouen, congrats on being the second Official Unofficial Steri Stumpie Ambassador. How does this make you feel?
Him: I never dreamt of becoming the official unofficial ambassador for the milk which I drink everyday - I’m awesomely happy about it!
Us: You chose to represent Crème Soda, interesting choice. Is this because it’s your most favourite flavour in the whole wide world, or is it because Crème Soda is the worlds best hangover cure? (taking a flying guess here seeing as you’re a student and all)
Him: Creme Soda’s hangover powers were discovered while in matric ;), but before then it was anyways my favourite flavour.
Us: How many Steri’s would you say you knock back in a week?
Him: I need at least 1 everyday. Some days that even increases - so lets say about 10ish per week. Not alls are creme soda though.
Us:So what are you studying? Would you say that Steri helps you concentrate when cramming for exams?
Him: I’m studying Actuarial Sciences - I don’t want to frigthen anyone or something, so I won’t even try to explain what the hell it is.
I always believed that even before vitaminwater, Steri already had a specific-drink-for-the-time-of-day. Piesang Steri is my concentration-juice.
Us: So how many years do you have left and what are your plans for when your done?
Him: Hopefully I only have 2 more years left, and after university I still have a couple more to actually register as an actuary which I will do for a couple of years. After that I’d like to travel the world, do good, learn more languages and live happily ever after…blah blah blah. Actually I don’t plan that far ahead. =P
Us: What is your favourite occasion to drink Steri Stumpie?
Him: Definitely after a very long and strenuous swimming session a Steri is the way to go!
Us: Tell us about the craziest way you have ever drunk Steri?
Him: My Steri photo actually explains it very well. Have you ever had all the flavours(6 out of 7 actually) at once? Unexplainably delicious - but complicated. You need to align the Steri’s and point the straws exactly. Mmm. Oh and that steri drinking-under-the-pool video is still coming this summer!

Here are the edited highlights of the ambassador ceremony that took place on Friday. Chris recieved his certificate of awesomeness, official unofficial ambassador medal, t-shirt, stickers and chocolate Steri Stumpie to the sounds of Thriller. The Steri band in a display of spontaneous excitement at doing their first gig for Steri Stumpie then did a tour of the office (also managing to play Dancing Queen amongst others) while Chris danced along.
Chris was a total star and can’t think of a more deserving dude as our first ambassador. More photos to follow!
Next we need to choose July’s ambassador. They’ll recieve exactly the same treatment from the brand at either their office, college or living room. If you think you’ve got what it takes nominate yourself here
We just just just had our first Sterinade - it was very rad and a little arb, but radder for the arbness, if that makes sense. Basically Chris sat down and we presented him with the Official Unofficial Steri Stumpie Ambassador kit while the marching band played Thriller, Dancing Queen and A Few Of My Favourite Things. We then all paraded around the agency and drank a whole lot of Steri. Rad. Loads more pics and video to follow next week.
