Are you an uber super dedicated Steri fan? Do you gulp up the Steri milky goodness on a daily basis? Do you freak out and go ballistic when you hear the word Steri? If yes…Then I want YOU!
Stump Towers is looking for some guys and gals to spread the Steri-love across the country, so if you think you can be my fellow Steri-girl or guy then send me a mail with a brief (but awesome) motivation and pic of themselves to anika@atmosphere.co.za
We’re looking for peeps in Joburg and Durbs specifically who are enthusiastic, energized, friendly and have one or two connections in their local music / arts scene to drop Steris and Steriphernalia with bands, DJs, bloggers and other cool people who deserve Steri-love for making this world a radder place.
The guy / gal picked will become infamous in Steri land, get R500 a month for drops AND meet the most awesome people in the universe! Is this the best job in the universe? Hell yes! So send your motivations NOW as we’ll be recruiting within the next week.
Cheers, Anika

Another in-depth and probing report from the Anika, our girl where it happens:
“Whilst working my freakin ass off at Stellenbosch Jool (…yea yea ok, I pardied my freakin ass off…), I managed to gatecrash Tollie Square and round up these blokes to be Sterisized just after their show (explains the sweaty look..). So, “Foto na Dans” strange name I know, but apparently it incorporates the visual as well as musical aspect of there awesome being..bla bla read it on wikipedia – all I know is they flippen rock!
Foto Na Dans are totally the new class prefects in the Afrikaans rawk school. Their combo of indie/progressive rock, classic Afrikaans and drifting electronic sounds just makes you want to freakin jump on stage and get down with your bad self. No seriously, these guys have discovered a new bonus hidden level of awesomeness! No wonder they are being compared to names such as Muse, Bloc Party, Incubus and the Springbok Nude Girls to name but a few…”

Another frontline report from our girl behind the Boerewors Curtain Anika:
“A while back I did a super freakinly rad emergency Steri drop that blew me into outer space! So many people were ranting on and on (and on…) about a particular pirate gypsy band known as Mr Cat and the Jackal (so nursery rhymy) that I just had to go check out these belly bearded scallywags for myself…So I gate crashed one of their rehearsal with some Steri goodies (amazing the doors some chocolate Steri and some stickers opens…)
These guys are frickin amazing! Besides the fact that they play just about every instrument known to mankind (and then add some homemade garage pipe-instrumenty-stuff to the mix) they are unlike any other local band. Their super nuclear combo of xylophones, glockenspiels, accordion, lap-slide, bouzouki, melodica, kalimba and percussion creates a sick acoustic folk blues cocktail. Definitely a band to keep an eye on…czechit!”

We’ve teamed up with web flavoured t-shirt dudes
Springleap this week. They’ve invented a little competition called “show me your six pack”. All you need to do is pose with six Steri Stumpies and send them a pic. Nice. Although we uh did point out that it doesn’t really come in six packs but they think it should so there you go. Some examples shot by the Springleap hotties:

The Blue Man

Chloe

Eran
Take a photo of you and your six-pack that out-does the Springleap.com team and post it here. The best photo wins a limited edition Springleap t-shirt and some awesome steriphanalia. Winner will be announced on October 20th.
