Well we had to make the BrosStreep this month’s ambassadors after their Steri Stumpie song and video. To celebrate their induction as official unofficial ambassadors the steri stumpie marching band will be joining them on stage this saturday at the prestigous V&A Waterfont ampitheatre at 5PM. The result will be possibly the greatest pop spectacular since Live Aid. But better as its free and we’ll be handing out the new marshmallow and raspberry flavours to their horde of devoted followers. It could get messy. If you want to be there just loiter near the ampitheatre at about 4:45 and listen for the sound of a tuba.  See you down the front!

Just recieved this - it might not be a song about Steri Stumpie complete with a pop video, but still it’s deserving. A tragic story with a happy ending…

“My life has not been easy. My mother was addicted to Steri Stumpie and drank 10-15 a day while she was pregnant with me. This led to a bizarre defect in my brain - I have a split personality. My birth certificate says Juli, but people who have been around me when what i call, “the darkness” hits, have discovered the evils of the other me - Juliana.

We are both congenitally addicted to Steri Stumpie because of mom. I like strawberry coz its bright, sweet and fun; she likes chocolate coz its dark, creamy and mysterious. This poses a problem when you share a body - I’m allergic to chocolate. A few times a week, sometimes up to 10 times a day, Juliana comes out and demands chocolate Steri Stumpie. I’ve tried reasoning with her but she gets like that little kid in the exorcist, so i have to give in. This means I end up in emergency rooms, breaking out in welts, my throat closing up etc on a regular basis.

That all changed 2 weeks ago when the marshmallow flavour was launched. I just tried it for fun, and loved it - and to my surprise, no Juliana for 5 days! When she did hit, her temper was not as bad, so i tried it again and again until she stopped appearing all together - so i guess we’ve finally found the flavour we both love. Since then i have had one everday, and have been in perfect health. It’s odd but I kind of miss ‘my sister’ although I’m glad she leaves me to live a normal life now.

I would like to nominate Juliana, or more correctly,her memory to be a Steri Stumpie ambassador.”

Here at Stump towers we get so much ambassador nomination mail we’ve had to hire ten extra interns just to go through it - bless their little paper-cut  fingers…. It takes quite a bit to make it out of the mail room but this is a good example of how to do it. The formula for success is pretty simple:

a: love steri stumpie

b: send us a photo that displays said love

c: write a song about steri stumpie

d: get one of your friends to endorse your love for Steri stumpie with unlikely stories of stumpie related heroism

This one ticked all the boxes.

“Simon is an absolute legend amongst men. He not only wrote a Steri Stumpie song, but is the true human form of Steri Stumpie. I would not be surprised if his blood was Steri Stumpie. At least he wouldnt have any problems if he needed a blood transfusion. This man is a steri stumpie player. He’s picked about 34 chicks using Steri Stumpie. This one girl turned down the whole South African Rugby side to be with Simon and his Steri Stumpies. Legend.”

Rouen is our Creme Soda Ambassador from UCT - you’ve seen the photos, now meet the man:

Us: Hey Rouen, congrats on being the second Official Unofficial Steri Stumpie Ambassador.  How does this make you feel?

Him: I never dreamt of becoming the official unofficial ambassador for the milk which I drink everyday - I’m awesomely happy about it!

Us: You chose to represent Crème Soda, interesting choice.  Is this because it’s your most favourite flavour in the whole wide world, or is it because Crème Soda is the worlds best hangover cure? (taking a flying guess here seeing as you’re a student and all)

Him: Creme Soda’s hangover powers were discovered while in matric ;), but before then it was anyways my favourite flavour.

Us: How many Steri’s would you say you knock back in a week?

Him: I need at least 1 everyday. Some days that even increases - so lets say about 10ish per week. Not alls are creme soda though.

Us: So what are you studying?  Would you say that Steri helps you concentrate when cramming for exams?

Him: I’m studying Actuarial Sciences - I don’t want to frigthen anyone or something, so I won’t even try to explain what the hell it is.
