We’ll be holding an Easter Steri Hunt tomorrow, and LunchRunner will be running around town hiding Steris for you to find. If you don’t know you LunchRunner is, he’s the superfit guy who will do your lunchrun for you - all you need to do is follow him on twitter. Now who would have thought a scruffy band like Ashtray Electric could be “fashionably late”…For real - I almost though I had been stood up (silent sob). Just as I was about to leave Libertas Theatre in Stellies after another awesome Steri quest I felt the earth like freakin rumble – yip the guys came running at me like a mad ass stampede. I’d be lying if I said that I’m not use to this – my super stash of Steri goodness does tend bring out the weird beggish animals in people…the attacking vulture kind if you know what I mean?

ANYWHOO - I have absolutely no clue who this dude is, but I think he pretty much got it right - “This new, young indie band (Ashtray Electric) has the same energy as Adam and the Ants, the sleaziness of the likes of Slade and the sex appeal of T- Rex. They’re much more than these influences, though, evoking sentiments that are entirely local.” Chris Roper, review in Best Life.

Thanks to everyone that entered the Van Coke Kartel Tee competition and at last we can announce our winner!…..Drum roll purlease.

Congrats to Jan-Erik Petersen from the isle of mud and rain (UK) for winning the Van Coke Kartel signed Steri-Tee. We just had to reward this awesome Steri-fan who, get this, walks miles and miles for his Steri fix (no kilometers for this dude). You go Jan-Erik, you’re an inspiration to Steri fans world wide!

Once again I found myself in Boereworsville for a Steri drop. For this mission I targeted aKing, as I heard they have been wishing non-stop for a visit from the “Steri-fairy” (not sure how I feel about being labeled as that…)

These outta–this-world outjkies have shot into supastardom, so of course I had to “flutter by” to take them some milky goodness. After unloading the steri’s they immediately plaked the stickers on their amps and got all happy with their new found coolness.

Just because they wished so hard for the “Steri-fairy” I also sent them some pretty Steri outfits with my compliments… cute boys, cute.

We’ve been beavering away making two new radio ads to help spread the Steri love. They break tomorrow, but you can hear them here first. Do let us know what you think.
