The Steri team talks to our new ambassador and one of his entourage about the Steri board meetings and exporting Steri to Ghana. Note the Steri band keeping it real in the background… how ice cool are those dudes?!

We had our fourth ambassador sterinade this morning. This is the first of a couple of clips our expert film crew shot of the excitement. In this episode our new ambassador demonstrates “the best way to drink Steri”. Prepare to be informed and thrilled.

We asked our new Steri Ambassador James to tell us a little more about himself ahead of his Steriship ceremony on Monday.

This is his story:

It is quite an honour being an official unofficial Steri Stumpie Ambassador I would feel the weight of carrying the responsibility of … but fortunately it’s easy to be a good representative, since you just sit back with a Steri and enjoy…piece of cake

My favourite flavour - Definately CHOCOLATE on odd days a cream soda or bannana is pretty good. The chocolate ones taste the best!

I’m nearly finished my PhD in Computer Science at UCT, specializing in Scientific Visualization…a hard job, and had many late nights. Must say, a few Steri’s can take you through those late nights quite nicely.

I think I’ve had up to 3 Steri’s in a day, but I think a better question is how many have you had with friends in a day and that must be about 12-rough estimate…see Steri’s all about the hanging out with friends or even stranger - Looking forward to having a Steri with you and the band.

I don’t know if I’d call it a ritual, but, there is the Steri olympics, where we try to set new world records for distance - Steri squirting…the only way to drink Steri, just like aero is better with the bubbles, so is Steri.

Jonny should be the Steri ambassador-can I nominate him for the next time. Jonny was the one who made the Steri video all by himself-it’s so brilliant! We had a Steri commitee and blog…thanks to Shell Thomas, Victor her brother - they even have a Steri bird…see now Shell Cloete and her , you should really look at steriparty.blogspot.com Jonny came down for the meeting and had the brilliant idea of having us give a Steri to the little girl in ImizamaYethu. At Stump Towers we have to repeat “today i promise to be super rad and awesome in every conceivable way” five times in the mirror before switching on our laptops. Most days it works… however:

Some of you have been in touch to say you’re struggling with the peel-and-reveal labels for the t-shirt competition. We’ve investigated and you’re totally right there is a problem with some of the stickers that makes it difficult to peel them. We’re really really sorry about that - the problem was only noticed after the bottles had been distributed and we have no way of knowing which bottles are a problem. However i’m reliably informed that if you are really struggling it is possible to peel the whole label off and look at the back to see the code. Not ideal I know. Anyhow when we find the person responsible we’ll be hanging them upside down in one of our vats for a week.

Actually thinking about it that could be quite fun…

And yes we know that a Gerbil with flowers in no way makes up for letting you down. Even if he is a damn cute and chirpy little fellow.

The last Steri hunt took place outside the delightful Hallo Again. These 3 stylish Steri fanatics went bezerk when they saw how awesomely their new tees matched their leggings.
